The Ultimate Childhood Portrait:  Our portraits are painted in studio but you can do something very special and have your child assist in a private children's workshop as per 'Poppy's Dance Spectacular' below.  We will photograph your child acting out the scene and incorporate images of favourite toys, clothing, story books, flowers, etc to make the scene as endearing, relevant and memorable as possible. These are very special!

'Poppy's Dance Spectacular'

Client Brief - Improve Poppy's bedroom decor with a portrait.

Our Strategy - We questioned Poppy about her likes which were Poppies (her name's sake), being outdoors and, particularly, dancing.  As her sister had also experienced a 'Private Children's Workshop', we arranged for Poppy to help paint the background, adding meaning to her artwork for future generations.

The Outcome -  Poppy adores her painting and it lifted her decor and corrected the lines in her space in comparison with what existed beforehand. This art will be a beautiful reminder of childhood freedoms and aspirations.

'Jack Is Racer X!'

Client Brief -  5 year old Jack, Poppy's twin brother, doesn't say a lot but he sure does know what he wants! Given the opportunity to have his face painted large as life wasn't Jack's 'cuppa tea' at all. He just wanted his toy Racer X Car as big as life, with him driving it!

Our Strategy -  With this as inspiration, little Jack was happy to pose for the camera. There was talk of the road runner style background, so this was researched and created. He loved the speed stripes on one of the reference photos we sent his parents David and Julie, so they were incorporated too.

The Outcome - You can see from the applet (left), just what lengths we go to to ensure your child will love their art.  And the response is always the same ... they sit in amazement, time and time again just staring at their artwork. The response we get back from the kids and their parents is enough to make us giddy with delight!

'The Red Baron Strikes'

Client Brief - 5 year old Jordan loves planes, as does his dad. He likes being the Red Baron. Rachael wanted decor appropriate art for the big, bare wall in Jordan's room and it was she who suggested incorporating Jordan’s face ... and we are glad she did!

Our Strategy - We researched the Red Baron's plane, clothing, etc and drafted a Pop Art feel artwork that wouldn't date when Jordan took his art with him later in life.

The Outcome - Rachael and Paul were totally ecstatic with the final piece and how the dull, empty wall in Jordan's room now exuded an atmosphere that their little boy could loose himself in.  They couldn’t have asked for more! And Jordan? He stared at it for 2 hours and said, he loved it. He has always loved planes and now he can see himself as a pilot ... just as if he were flying in the Red Baron’s model plane which hangs above his bed.
